Privacy
localmodel.run is a static site. There is no application backend, no account, and no sign-up. It was built to collect as little as possible, and this page says exactly what that means in plain terms.
What we don't do
No accounts or visitor profiles.
No accounts, no logins, no email capture. No advertising, no third-party trackers, no tracking cookies. We do not sell visitor data.
Analytics
Cookieless aggregate counts only.
To see which pages are useful and where visitors come from, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint you, and reports only aggregate counts. It cannot identify you.
Because each model and device combination has its own page, visiting one is counted as an aggregate page view. That tells us a page was popular, not who looked at it.
The guided setup offers voluntary “It worked” and “I got stuck” links. These counts are self-reported feedback, not verified successful installations. Your choices stay in the URL fragment after the # so you can return to the same setup. Fragments are not sent in page requests or referrers.
Optional action counts use Cloudflare Zaraz with no added analytics SDK, cookies, or visitor IDs. Each request contains only a fixed action name, such as a fit check, setup link, successful command copy, runtime download link, browser demo load or completion, or setup feedback. No model, hardware, URL, prompt, image, audio, or output is attached. These are action totals, not unique people or a verified conversion rate. Action counts respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Those report aggregate search statistics from Google and Bing. They run on the search engine's side and are not scripts loaded on this page.
Your hardware
Stays on your device.
When you use the compatibility detector, the model and device you pick are used to compute the answer in your browser. The detector does not send these choices to us or save them in browser storage. Guided setup links keep the choices in the URL fragment, which can remain in your browser history until you clear it.
Local storage
Theme preference and a testing opt-out.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. If you use the qa=1 testing flag, a boolean in session storage disables action counting for that tab until you close it or use qa=0. Neither preference identifies you or leaves your browser.
Hosting
Cloudflare Pages.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how they handle it.
